editor GUIDE

Editing multiple videos

Each video is managed by video clips and associated audio, and multiple video tracks and overlapping configurations are available.

Prerequisites
  • One or more videos added to the timeline

Edit video and audio together

When connected, selecting a video clip or accompanying audio will select a pair. Move, Trim, Split and Delete also apply the same time structure to both clips.

Placing multiple videos

Repeat adding video files and creating more video tracks, placing each video at the desired time and track. If you change the order of connected video and audio tracks, the two tracks move together.

  1. 1

    Add video

Select a video file from Add File at the top.

  2. 2

    move clip

Drag the video clip left or right or to another video track.

  3. 3

    adjustable length

Drag both edges of the video clip to trim the original section.

  4. 4

    Check the scene

Move the playhead to see the results in video view.

Creating video transitions and fades

When video clips overlap, the overlapping sections are composited with automatic crossfade. Individual fade in and out can also be adjusted with the video clip's fade handle.

View video and disconnect

In supported browsers, you can open or hide a separate PIP window using the video view button at the top. When you need to move the video and audio separately, right-click the video clip and select Disconnect video and audio from the menu.
