Save work and link projects

Save the work you want to continue editing as a `.gamesound` file, and save the results you want to use with your team in your project.

Saving the .gamesound work file

Save at the top downloads audio and video sources, tracks, clips, effects, automation, and editing status as a single `.gamesound` file. You can reopen this file in Import.

    Save your work

    Select Save at the top.

    Store the downloaded `.gamesound` file in a safe location.

    reopen

    Select the file you archived under Import at the top.

Save new results to your project

Select the output type and settings in the Export to project at the top, then select the target project and folder. You can save a single resulting file or selected track-specific stems as a new item.

Editing connected project sound sources

When you open a workspace sound source in a new tab editor, an edit button will appear at the top. Once you confirm and run the output settings, the mixdown results will be reflected in the linked original project items.

Classify storage method

  • Continue editing later: `.gamesound` working file
  • Add new results to your project: Export to project
  • Replace connected project sound source: Edit
  • Play/distribute on devices: Export
