Using recording, mixing, and effects

Balance the volume and PAN for each track, and add recording and effects to the tracks you need.

Prerequisites
  • Editor access rights
  • Microphone permissions in your browser when recording

Record from the current location

Pressing the Record button on an audio track will record directly from the current playhead position. You can only record one track at a time.

    positioning

    Move the playhead to the time you want to start recording.

    Start recording

    Press the Record button on the target audio track and allow microphone permission.

  3. 3

    End recording

    Press the same Record button again to create a new audio clip.

Adding track effects

Open the audio track's FX and add effects. You can turn each effect on and off, change the order, and adjust the details.

  • EQ, Compressor, Reverb, Delay
  • Chorus, Distortion, Filter, BitCrusher
  • Effect order is applied from top to bottom.

Reusing FX Chains

Right-click the FX button to copy the current chain and paste it to another audio track. You can choose to replace or add to the existing chain.

Level and left/right balance

Adjust the VOL and PAN of the track and compare and listen with Solo and Mute. Avoid clipping by checking the track meters and the bottom overall meter together.
